Shepparton Curry Hut

After a successful five years serving Indian food to the people of Seymour, chef Amritpal Singh Arwal expanded his business to open a second location in Shepparton. Curry is in their names because their menu is full of rich and flavourful curries, there’s something for everyone. Visit their website here.

Belcibo + Co.

129 Fryers Street, Shepparton

Nestled in Fryers Street, Shepparton’s food precinct, is Belcibo + Co, a family-run, Italian style cafe with a modern atmosphere and traditional Italian menu. Their woodfire pizzas are a favourite among locals and their coffees are something to write home to Italy about. Italian for ‘beautiful food’, Belcibo is just that. Bicaro’s Ristorante, Bar and Forno

30 North Street, Shepparton

Just a stone’s throw to the east of Shepparton’s CBD is Bicaro’s Ristorante, Bar and Forno. With woodfire pizza, authentic pasta dishes and locally made wine on the menu, they provide a bona-fide Italian experience. 

Europa Deli Cafe

37 Vaughan Street, Shepparton

Open Monday to Saturday from 7.30am, Europa Deli Cafe is your one stop for breakfast or lunch as well as your delicatessen needs and locally produced and sourced grocery items like sauces, dressings, pastas and more.

Little Lipari

143 Maude Street, Shepparton

Just up from the Maude Street Mall on the corner of Maude and Edward Street you can find Little Lipari, an Italian style cafe. Open for breakfast and lunch, they are known for their superb pasta and gnocchi dishes as well as having some of the best coffees in Shepparton.

Mooroopna Pizzeria & Wine Bar

86/88 McLennan Street, Mooroopna

Mooroopna Pizzeria & Wine Bar is located on the main street in Mooroopna. Open Monday to Saturday for breakfast, lunch and dinner, come to enjoy a gourmet pizza, pasta dish or one of their weekly specials with one of their extensive wine selections.

You’ll find more than just sushi at Wasai Sushi. Come in for a bowl of ramen or a katsu curry as well as a sushi platter. You can find Wasai Sushi in two locations in Shepparton, one at Riverside Plaza and the second in the Fryers Street Food Precinct.

Stanley’s Cafe and Restaurant

Located on High Street, Stanley’s Café and Restaurant brings authentic Albanian food to Shepparton, with recipes passed down through generations. This family owned café is a warm and inviting environment, filled with the sounds of music of all genres played on vinyl, Stanley's is the perfect place to catch up with friends while enjoying a meal out.

Located on High Street is Portuguese restaurant, Beneditos. Come in for one of their platters to share or try a burger or wrap to yourself. They also serve pizza, salads, fish and chips and kids meals.

Syrians Brothers

310 High Street, Shepparton

Head to Syrian Brothers on High Street to taste the traditional foods from the Middle East. From Lebanese bread, the freshest falafel served with hummus to chicken served over Kabsa rice, come in to try some of their simple dishes that are full of flavour. If you’re in need of a sweet treat, try a slice of their traditional Syrian dessert, Kunafa, perfect for with a cup of their Syrian coffee.

A little bit off the beaten path, The Arabian Plate is located on St Georges Road, a 20 minute walk from Shepparton’s CBD.

Southeast Asian

Thai Coconut Restaurant

66 High Street, Shepparton

For quality and authentic Thai salads, noodle dishes and curries, look no further than Thai Coconut Restaurant on High Street. Notably their menu features Khao Soy, a traditional dish from the northern regions of Thailand, which is slowly becoming available in Thai restaurants in Australia.

The Last Straw

24-26 Keppel Street, Shepparton

The Last Straw is a Shepparton staple when it comes to Thai cuisine. Located on Keppel Street, they are a bit off the beaten track, but it’s worth the detour to get a taste of this local favourite. Make sure to get there during the week, because they’re closed on weekends. While you're at The Last Straw, make sure to have a coffee, they roast the beans on site.

Nanna Marce

Family owned and run, this Filipino food truck serves tacos, loaded fries and their beloved chicken and waffle. If you’re vegetarian, try one of their cauliflower or jackfruit dishes. Nanna Marce can usually be found parked by the lake on a Saturday evening, if they’re not busy serving their delicious food at an event or a private function. Make sure to check their Facebook and Instagram to see where their green caravan will be parked during your visit in Shepparton and Goulburn Valley.

Pho Viet

247-249 Wyndham Street, Shepparton

Fast-growing in popularity with locals, Pho Viet provides a variety of Vietnamese dishes, pho, rice, noodle, dumplings, spring rolls and more. They are open for lunch and dinner sittings from Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday (just for dinner on Wednesdays). They can get busy in the evenings, so be sure to make a booking to avoid missing out. 

VietNamese Street Foods 888

139 High Street

It’s all in the name at VietNamese Street Foods 888, drop in to their High Street store for Banh Mi, Rice Paper Rolls and a creamy Vietnamese coffee. Everything is cooked fresh everyday, and they have a weekly special so come in to try something new. They’re open 11am to 2.30pm Monday to Friday, perfect for lunch.
