Take part in a Behind the Scenes tour of SAM, led by Belinda Briggs. Meet the people who work at SAM, learn about what they do, what they love about their work and the career pathways they took to get there. This is also an opportunity to learn about SAM’s collection and what is involved in caring for the artworks in the collection, as well as a tour of the gallery and workshop spaces at SAM.
Where: Shepparton Art Museum
When: 10.00am – 1.00pm
Morning tea and lunch provided. We are serving lunch at 12pm.
Join Robyn Ayers, Arts Law CEO, Roxanne Lorenz, Arts Law Solicitor and Bibi Barba, Artists in the Black Coordinator, at Kaiela Arts for a run through of the important legal issues affecting artists: copyright, contracts, licencing, commissioning of artworks and Indigenous Cultural and Intellectual Property (ICIP). Arts Law staff will also provide free Legal Advice Clinics for artists from 1pm - 4pm. This is your change to ask a question about your individual legal concern.
