This is also an opportunity to learn about SAM’s collection and what is involved in caring for the artworks in the collection, as well as a tour of the gallery and workshop spaces at SAM.

Morning tea and lunch provided. We are serving lunch at 12pm.

Day Two:

Join Robyn Ayers, Arts Law CEO, Roxanne Lorenz, Arts Law Solicitor and Bibi Barba, Artists in the Black Coordinator, at Kaiela Arts for a run through of the important legal issues affecting artists: copyright, contracts, licencing, commissioning of artworks and Indigenous Cultural and Intellectual Property (ICIP). Arts Law staff will also provide free Legal Advice Clinics for artists from 1pm - 4pm. This is your change to ask a question about your individual legal concern.
